24 at 17 Feb 2015 Keurboomstrand at Tamodi lodge (Honeymoon Suite) → Gansbaai at Whale Song lodge (Standard Room) "I woke up at 5.45h and enjoyed the wonderful view for half an hour and went back to bed. We both got up at 7.30h, Ed mad as a nice Nespresso Coffee, we packed a little and got ready for breakfast. Breakfast was very nice again! Today they had on fresh baked croissant: scrambled egg and bacon with avocado slices and we had both Rooibos tea. It was very good. We checked our email and got off at 10.50h. I stared to feel miserable already when we were still getting things into the car. But it got really bad!!! I did not know if we’d rather stop or carry on. We carried on and I dozed off a bit and that mad it bearable. I got a little better and we stopped in Albertinia. That was also a good excuse to by some Alcare Aloe Vera products. We had lunch. I had just a oven baked potato with a little salt and that did me really good. Ed had a cheeseburger. We carried on with our driving and my tummy was better. We had a little stop to fill our car up in Riviersonderende and we arrived Gansbaai at the Whale Song Lodge at 17.00h. We had a very nice and warm welcome! After bringing up everything to our room we had tea, coffee and apple cake. I was afraid to try … but everything was fine! We went to our room rested, showered and went to dinner at 18.55h to have dinner at 19.00h. That is possible because the restaurant is only 5 min. walk away from the B&B. It was a very nice small restaurant. Nice and fine atmosphere. We had both a starter, Ed a carrot soup and I a Springbok Carpaccio, Ed had a Steak with veggies, mash potato’s and a wonderful sauce, I had the prawn starter as main course with basmati rice. It was very good! And we could bring our own wine. I was so very happy that my stomach was OK tonight, but I took as a precaution – some medicine before we went for dinner. We were back in our B&B at 21.00h. We did some PC work and went at 22.00h to bed.
P.S.: Because we have limited Internet access we wont upload to many photos. Just a couple and the rest will follow later."
